WEB Agent code snippet
Instructions for installing the WEB Agent can be found in the Agent menu in the NetFUNNEL console.
Development Environment
The following traffic control environments are supported by the NetFUNNEL Agent.
- Websites built with page transitions via HTML <a> tags
- Traffic controls apply regardless of browser environment, but data collection for End User Monitoring may be limited to visitors using browsers with IE 11.1 or earlier.
How to install
You can install NetFUNNEL Agent by simple copy and paste.
You can enable the VWR (Virtual Waiting Room) feature based on segment information without any source code modification.
- Copy code snippet from agent menu in console
- You can easily copy by pressing the 'Copy' button on the code screen.
- Paste the copied code snippet into HTML
- Paste the code snippet between the <head> and </head> tags into the HTML of your domain, including your main domain.
- If your website consists of several pieces of HTML, then paste the code snippet into all of your HTML.
- If you have a common js file that you use in all your HTML, put it once in the file.
Agent application testing
After installing the NetFUNNEL WEB Agent, please follow the steps below to ensure that the installation completes successfully.
- Set the Basic Control Segment's Limited Inflow to '0
- Entry requests within a website
- To test the entry request, use multiple devices (PC, mobile, etc.) to try to enter at the same time.
- Ensure that the waiting room appears on the screen of the device you are testing.
- Check for numerical fluctuations in the segment data in the NetFUNNEL Console - Basic Controls menu.
- There should be a fluctuation in the entry volume/waitlist count.
